From Antient times, no Master or Fellow could be absent from his Lodge, especially when warned to appear at it, without incurring a severe censure, unless it appeared to the Master and Wardens that pure necessity hindered him


Lodge meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month September to May, excluding January with the Installation in November. Dress code is a dark lounge suit, a black or masonic tie, white shirt, white gloves, plain dark socks and black shoes.

Standing committee meetings are held on the Monday prior to the Lodge meeting at which Officers of the Lodge are expected to attend

Lodge of Improvement nights are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, September to April, excluding December, at which all members are encouraged to attend particularly if currently holding office or will be the following year. Casual attire, though the Masonic Club has a dress code excluding jeans and trainers for members.


Please note that the Macclesfield Masonic Hall function rooms are available for public hire for weddings, funerals, business presentations, birthdays and anniversaries etc. The Hall is also hosts other local organisations like The Rotary Club, British Legion & Probus.
